On 7^th February 2009, our English Debating Society has won a debate in the Lion's Club Inter-School Debating Competition - 2^nd Preliminary.

The motion of the debate was "Excessive knowledge of drugs will lead young persons to try drugs." Our team was on the Affirmative Side in this debate. Our team members are Chung Wen Xuan Vincent (4C), Yuen Wai Yin Alex (4B) and Tam Chung Yan Titian (1D).

We will therefore be promoted to the last debate of the Preliminary Round of the debating competition, which will be held on 21^st February 2009.
