Inter-school Swimming Championships 2009-2010

Division 1, Hong Kong and Kowloon Area

After two competition days, our swimming team attained excellent results in the Inter-school Swimming Championships, Division One in Hong Kong and the Kowloon Area held by the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation.

We ranked 6^th out of the 12 top schools and this is the best result since we have had promoted to Division One. The total score was 130 and it was a record high for us. The position of Grade A, B, C was 9^th, 6^th, and 7^th respectively.

Jonah Ling form 2C won the gold medal in Grade C 100m Breast Stroke. It was the first win for Raimondi in the Division One Swimming Championships. Jonah also won the silver in 50m Breast Stroke. His excellence performance really boosted the confidence of our swimmers and it paves the way for us to attain good results in the future.

The competition was made even more memorable by the captain Chow Tin Lok and vice-captain Kwok Chun Ting Jasper who designed a special uniform tee for all swimmers. It showed our team-spirit and attracted looks from other schools and the press. 

The remarkable result shows the effort and determination of our swimmers. We would like to take this chance to show our appreciation for their performance and the support from their parents.
